Giving it up
I enjoyed this podcast for a really long time. It’s been great for book recommendations and the convo outside of books is usually interesting. I took a break a few months ago because Todd is really just too much sometimes. I think having differing opinions is really important to a good discussion, and having Todd involved works in that way, but he comes across as very pretentious and rude. He constantly talks over everyone and in the episode I tried listening to today, it was just too overwhelming. There aren’t many good book podcasts so I’m sad to have to give this one up, but the dynamic just doesn’t work for me.
