My Reflections on the Disco—after the 200th
While listening to your 200th episode, I was laughing and shaking my “yes” to pretty much everything you said—including where was Julia during some of those early shows—was her audio off?! :) But, really, I look forward to your show so much because it is a fresh, delightful surprise and I always learn something new—a new book or essay or an idea to ponder long after the show is over. So, I just wanted to say that I beg you to not change a thing. It doesn’t need any freshening up—it does that organically as you grow and it is a gift I look forward to, uh, whenever you post one. Thank you so, so for taking the time and effort to produce this podcast—and for reading “Middlemarch,” by the way—a highlight—especially with Tod’s rough start. And Rider delights with curiosity of all things and Julia’s outlook on life is the best—wish I lived in Connecticut and could experience her theater sometime. Oh, and did I say, please, please please don’t change a thing!

I love this podcast so much. The three co hosts have such great chemistry together. I always learn about a new book I want to read, even if it’s just a passing reference. I love that they cover high brow lit to everything in between. This podcast keeps me company on my commute to work. 💖
