Witty, Entertaining, Thoughtful, and Fun!
I love this podcast! It's witty, entertaining, thoughtful, and thought provoking - every thing I look for in a podcast. I enjoy that this podcast presents both the literary and historical background needed to appreciate and understand the sub-context of these great volumes. In addition actually learning something, this podcast has some really fun and original music. Check out the song in one of the episodes about Homer's Iliad. The podcast host writes a 1980s styled song for some Greek warriors described in the story with haircuts reminiscent of mullets. It's simply hilarious!
