first class entertainment and education
I am listening to History of Ancient Greece, which is where I heard of this. One of my all time favorites. He has a good speaking voice, his podcasts are well organized, and there are silly songs that are starting to grow on me. He loves his subject and it shows. He uses background music and sound effects very well; lively without detracting from the main business.

Even if you've taken university courses and read anthologies of these works, you'll be amazed by how much Doug adds with his own experiences, insights, and original(!) music compositions that are littered throughout. Wonderful podcast.Read full review »
