“I can appreciate the idea of stories for kids, however what you are giving are pieces of stories, from authors who, let’s be honest are dated. It’s a problem when I have to stop the story 10 times to explain what words are to a 7 year old. If that’s the case, the writing isn’t appropriate. Not saying that there isn’t a place for this literature, but it should be passed off as stories for kids.”

“Most of these stories have something horrible happen and they gave my kids nightmares. I feel like they made very strange story choices for a podcast that is advertised as possible “bedtime” listening. The Velveteen Rabbit was the only good one.”
