I have my favorites, and I hope the show has helped you find yours too. But I’m going to cop to something here. This week we have bassist Darren Frate and of the many wonderful and versatile pieces he’s composed and played he added my favorite to the set list.    Some artists will cover songs by others, and that’s ok, but Darren will occasionally do original compositions in the style of others, and as someone who used to love to listen to Wayman Tisdale play bass, Darren’s ‘Tisdale’, which you’ll hear on this week’s show makes me just incredibly happy.
