Brian Drader has had an amazing creative journey as a writer, dramaturg, actor, teacher, and artistic administrator – and he is the current Executive Director of the Manitoba Association of Playwrights. Andrew asks Brian about a number of his creative works including The Fruit Machine and his engagement as dramaturg for Cirque du Soleil’s MJ ONE at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Brian worked for 13 years as the Director of Playwriting at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal, and now helps to teach and support Manitoba playwrights.
