Originally from the Dauphin, MB area, Charlene Van Buekenhout is an actor, director, writer, and beginner language learner bringing the Michif language to Winnipeg stages. Co-founder and Artistic Producer of Winnipeg's own Echo Theatre, Charlene expanded on what was originally a university group participating in Fringe. After a few years, she wanted to continue working on theatrical productions under the the title.
