Elio Zarillo and previous podcast guest Sharon Bajer have teamed up to write the show The Outside Inn, a "transformative dark comedy about the mess that makes us human," with performances at the Prairie Theatre Exchange from May 7 - 19, 2024. On today's podcast, Andrew interviews Elio, and the production's director, Annie Valentina. Elio is a theatre artist, educator and consultant based on Treaty 1 territory, whose play Volare premiered at PTE in the spring of 2023. Annie is a theatre artist and multidisciplinary storyteller based in Kjipuktuk/Halifax.
