Entertaining and educational
Really enjoy this podcast. It’s great to hear other perspectives on mixing and methods. I especially appreciate the ones that align with my workflows because it makes me feel smarter haha. At a time when I can’t be mixing live bands due to the pandemic, listening to this podcast has helped keep my mind creatively thinking about new ideas and keeps me optimistic for the future. My wife hates talking shop with me, but when I listen in the car I feel like I can talk shop with colleagues and I appreciate that. I frequently laugh out loud at the commentary, very funny stuff. It’s also nice to know others struggle with similar challenges even in higher budget and larger scale productions than the ones I work. Stay humble! Can you guys do a Bluegrass episode now? You hinted at one during the acoustic instruments and I could sure use some tips. It’s nothing like close-mic’d stages.
