Awesome podcast! Story for you: the puppy

“One day Thea, Ivy, Levi, and Stella were playing together at the park. Suddenly there was a wolfish howl! The kids decided to go and check it out, but they weren’t sure if they had enough time as their parents wanted them back by noon and it was already 11 o’clock! Stella and Thea thought it was a bit risky because they knew Ivy and Levi could sometimes get carried away in an adventure and forget to keep track of the time, not to mention the chance of them getting lost! They decided to put it to a vote, but it was tied! Ivy and Levi didn’t want to go back and ask for more time so they just ran off towards the howling sound. They came across a cave and discovered a stuck puppy! Thea and Stella were worried they would get told off for not staying as a group so followed the other two to the cave. Seeing the trapped puppy made them glad that Levi an Ivy had run off, even though it wasn’t a good to run off in the first place. “Let’s go back an get som help!”, said Stella. “Great idea Stella!” agreed Thea. The four friends ran back home an returned with Eric. He quickly freed the puppy. Back at the house he contacted the local rescue centre who said they’d find the puppy’s owner by scanning it’s microchip. The thought of the puppy being returned to it’s worried owner made the children very happy, even though they’d have loved to have kept it. Talking together in the kitchen over milk and cookies the kids realised that splitting up and running off was a risky thing to do, but they were glad that they sometimes took risks to help others.
