Crime here in Bourke made headlines this year, when a controversial article named it the most dangerous place in the world. Now after community consultation, Bourke will be the first in Australia to trial a Justice Reinvestment Implementation plan. The plans are focusing on connecting the community and educational services to break the incarceration rates of those in the criminal justice system.
