Wide-ranging, informative and fun
If you want a podcast that covers life in modern Japan from a broad perspective, look no further than this one. The three hosts are Mexican, American and Japanese and one of the most fun things about this show is listening to them compare their cultures to Japan. Also, they are not afraid to cover some of the downside of modern Japanese life. No, they are not critical just to be critical, rather they look at issues honestly, considering the good and the bad (and the ugly!). Overall, a great show. Highly recommended!

I like the show I just listened to ep 73 the only reason I gave 5 stars is because the audio quality. It sounds like it’s a Google hang out session. there isn’t a problem with that it’s just the audio quality isn’t that great. Just fix that and you guys get a five star review.

Sometime critical, sometimes silly, the hosts give great insight into current social issues and news events of Japan.

They say "If you can’t travel - read books”. But traveling is not about places, its about people. And the people of Living Japan bring you this unpretentious, natural conversation about Japan, just like you would love to have while stopping at an inn and a small group asks you to join.
