“For someone who lives a very similar medical life, and I’m a Mom too, this was phenomenal! I am so grateful there are people like you that put yourself out there and make connections like you did with the PA (brain fog: can’t think of her name!) Everything you talked about was so relevant and informative. I’ve been down the same road with ER’s and bad hospitals, being flagged and rejected, even though I never raised my voice. They repeated steroid injections into my spine multiple times even though it caused pain worse that childbirth without drugs for me and then would only give me Tylenol. When I pleaded for more, they sent in a psychologist. The system is so broken its devastating to people like us!
Sometimes it’s truly healing just to know you’re not alone and that someone else has been through hell like that too! (not that you’d wish it on your worst enemy!)

Oh and the form idea to carry into the ER! WOW! I just hit 50 diagnoses and have 20 doctors and have had 7 surgeries with 4 coming up this Fall. Having something already filled out to bring to the ER when your migraine is so bad you’re slurring your words is a fantastic idea!
