Description
I was inspired to record my second solo podcast following the whirlwind of emotions I felt after hosting the Women In Business Conference. I was on a high. I finally trusted in the process, because I was seeing my authentic self emerge. So, I decided to stop procrastinating and press record. I wanted to continue the conversation we started at the conference. I begin with a story about being a young gymnast at a major competition and how a single act of kindness changed the trajectory of my life. I talk about competition, people we see as threats, jealousy, limiting beliefs, scarcity and how in reality our competitors are often a mirror image of ourself. Also, this isn't just for women. From there I take you on a few different journeys, with stories and examples, not all flattering but at least honest and with motive. I am quite aware of not only my limiting beliefs but how I now see it in others, and how making the choice and being brave need to go hand in hand. I hit on motivation, discipline and finding the time for self care. I even address the critics of why this isn't "selfish". I talk about the energy we put out and the vibe we give off.
I had my doubts and fears in recording this second solo podcast- but, as I mention, we need to step out of our comfort zone to see any real change.
