“Mala and Diosa make you feel like you’re hanging out with your girls during your commute or simply keeping you company while doing chores around the house. They have a mix of types of episodes - some are interview-based, some are thematic and some simply Q&A sessions. I do enjoy the variety, but I have to admit some of the interview-based episodes did not do it for me. I’m not sure if it was the selection of guests and/or the host’s line of questioning not clicking but I wish some of those episodes would be a little more organic and not so stiff. I’m also very glad that Diosa and Mala are speaking on politics more. While their focus is not on politics, at the end of the day everything is inherently political, including silence. I would definitely suggest listening if you want light hearted conversations that still tackle social justice issues. Overall, this is a great podcast and the hosts play on each other’s strengths very well. I’ve listened to it so much my partner knows their voices and intro by memory now. Thank you both for giving women and femmes this space. I’m excited to see what projects you have in the works to continue supporting. Besitos!”
