“From the start Mala and Diosa bring the truth, but with some fun. I discovered the Locatoras by searching for the best hispanic podcasts and this stuck out as something fresh and original. With the charisma and excitement of our generation’s Romy and Michele (in a positive way, I love that movie,) these two University educated latinxs bring actual professional knowledge and experience to women and femmes that should be required listening to all young people, especially young hispanic people. Whether they’re discussing self defense, self love, or their outfits, they are alway entertaining, fun, and bring a positive vibe to their talks.
Men should give this podcast a listen as the Locatoras discuss femicide, toxic masculinity, and misogyny as well as our propensity to drag women and femmes who want nothing more than to exist without repercussions. It allows us to self reflect and see a different point of view than the most common “boys will boys” excuse of destructive behavior that is too often overlooked or forgotten at the expense of the victims who lay in men’s wake.
Long story short, I love this podcast and everyone should give it a try.”
