“The Astros fan base has a huge online presence and it was only a matter of time until the Locked On network wised up and created an Astros podcast. The fact that it exists is about all the praise I can give it right now. If there is a word for the opposite of charisma, that is how I would describe the show’s host Eric. We can obviously tell this he is a fan of the team, which is a must, but he provides little more than what is at best uniformed water cooler talk. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by Ben DuBose on the Rockets side of things, but there has got to be someone more entertaining than Eric to do a daily show on the Astros. Maybe get him partner that has a better grasp of to captivate an audience and also how to bring more facts and analysis.”
