What’s Happening?
I used to enjoy this podcast, and listened every day. But it has become cringeworthy and almost unlistenable, for one main reason: James Rapien. Now I’m going to be bullish on this when I say this podcast should be renamed The I Think Podcast because of how many times each episode James says I think. If I want someone’s opinions about anything or everything Bengals, I’ll talk to my friends or any Bengals fan. But when I listen to a Bengals podcast I expect facts, not opinions. And unfortunately I think James doesn’t get facts and only has his opinions. Along with that, I think he’s such a self-important narcissist that tries to take credit for anything and everything he does, and has to be right all the time (the amount of times he “corrects” Jake in such a demeaning, petty way is just terrible). Spoiler alert…nothing James says is ever a spoiler. Spoiler…I could care less if James thinks he could beat a “washed up” Chad Johnson. This podcast is at its best when Jake takes the lead with other guests like Sans or Joe G. Let Jake go and do an NBA podcast since that’s what he loves most, and let actual Bengals sources professionally take over.

More reviews of Locked On Bengals
Growing up right across from riverfront in Bellevue, it was easy to get all the Bengals coverage your heart could desire. Having moved to Orlando 15 years ago it has been tough to get daily coverage. The guys here do a great job of taping into that out of town fan experience.
