Good Xs and Os, Poor Everything Else
John knows basketball, but that’s where the value of his podcast ends. I used to listen daily, but I had to stop. John consistently defends or excuses players for poor play. He defends referees for failing to make a call or making bad calls. Aside from the fact that his podcast is littered with 3+ minute advertisements, it’s really just not that good if you are looking for stimulating content or perspective. The Winning Plays podcast isn’t a daily podcast, but is much better overall. John, I really tried to stick with you. I even played another episode recently just to see if the rhetoric has changed, but it hasn’t, and I’m done.

More reviews of Locked On Celtics
The Rainin' J's just get it. Rational, detailed, intelligent, and pretty funny discussions about all things Celtics. First review I've ever left and it's because they both asked for it and deserve it.Read full review »
