“Had to come and leave a review after listening to Jeff spend the intro to last show apologizing for “being too negative.” He is clearly one of the most knowledgeable Cleveland baseball fans on the planet… which by definition comes with negativity. This is a franchise that hasn’t won a World Series since dinosaurs roamed the earth, that averages a competitive team once every lifetime, that recently threw away my childhood and let Tom Hanks pick a new nonsensical name. And to reward us for our dedication, they are trotting out a daily lineup where 4 or 5 guys are barely batting my dog’s weight, let alone their own. Who comes to the Cleveland sports party looking for the optimistic takes?? Listening to this podcast will make you sound more informed on why the current iteration of this team is meh, why Tito is not some infallible deity and, yes, why Ahmed Rosario (mostly) stinks. We all wish every day of Cleveland baseball could be Rajai Davis’ game tying, game seven of the World Series home run, but any true fan knows it’s more often the rain delay that followed and most often, Michael Martinez’s sad squibbler to put him, the team, and all of us, out of our collective misery. Keep up the good work Jeff!”
