“Philip offers great insight. He’s a smart guy… but I don’t need to hear about your strong opinions of Covid vaccine, need for minority hires, and whatever else you repetitively bring up. I listen to Locked on Big boards where none of that nonsense is mentioned.
I’d also agree with other reviewers in that his stance on the state of the franchise and pessimism towards it can be really annoying sometimes. He had to know the entirety of the fan base wanted to tank and while we were on the verge of tank and play-in still, he was “disappointed” almost every game with our performance with his preachy perspective.
Not a fan of the way he builds suspense either. Just say what you gotta say. It’s just a basketball podcast. We want the facts, your opinion, and the context around it. Not some deep philosophical journey beyond that. Doesn’t always have to be so deep lol”
