“I’ve been listening to this podcast for several years. Brendan does a good job and knows a lot about basketball but the product has become so formulaic as of late. There are generally 3 segments in which the host or hosts riff for 5-7 minutes - often repeating the same information week to week. I continue to listen because it’s the only daily Suns podcast - it’s more background or ambient noise rather than informative or entertaining.
The biggest issue with this show are the guests. I don’t mean this on a personal level (more on a broadcasting product level) but the guests have no personality - which is not good for radio. The comedian that’s usually on has never said anything funny, instead they constantly laugh at their own cleverness. The other “Brandon” is monotone, has poor microphone quality and it’s really like listening to something stale and academic. I’d like to see some different regular contributors on the show or a different format.”
