Syracuse Orange Football starting cornerback Marcellus Barnes has been ruled out for the season, according to Syracuse Head Coach Fran Brown. Barnes finishes the year with 10 tackles and three passes defended in five games played. This means he cannot use 2024 as a redshirt year. The Orange could go with a next-man-up strategy by using Greg Delaine as a starting corner. Or, the Orange can switch the positions of Devin Grant, Justin Barron, and Derek McDonald.
