Description
Falling asleep can be wonderful. It can also be difficult too when we have sad thoughts or worries from today that are still popping around our minds like ping pong balls on a trampoline. Even worse can be thinking about things that haven’t even happened yet, like worrying about tomorrow - tonight! That’s not a picnic I’d like to attend even if there’s caramel cupcakes. So, we can’t worry about what’s over with or what hasn’t happened yet or may actually never happen when we’re supposed to be sailing off to snoozeville. I call going to sleep snoozeville. Maybe you call it slumbertown. Anyway, we just need to let all of our cares get some shut eye too. When we do that, sometimes they don’t ever come back. So, please take a few deep breaths while breathing in heaps of positivity and breathing out all of your negativity and give a listen to this pacifying poem. And remember, we should do things today to make tomorrow better!
If you enjoy this, I encourage you to listen to a fantastic interpretation of it by my friends Thomas Mitchell and Paxton Stanley over at Planet Storytime Podcast! I enthusiastically recommend digging their many glorious episodes. You will not be disappointed.
