New Zip Codes: Eno x Dirty
Listen now
Description
Central Auckland hip-hop duo Eno x Dirty are no strangers to Red Bull Studios Auckland. Dirty’s 64 Bars performance in 2017 was one of the standouts of the series and the two regrouped later that year with Red Bull engineer Ben Lawson to record their impressive EP Evil Adventures and Happy Endings. In this episode, we interrupt Eno x Dirty in the studio as they work on their latest project. We talk about the adventures of an excessive writing trip in Bali, the importance of getting perspective when creating music, and the trials and tribulations of making music videos. “Personally, I feel like I have to step away from even just music being my life,” says Dirty. “I kind of have to jump out of that zone for a while. For the romance of it to come back to me.”
