Really well done, very impressed!
As a fan of Jamie’s other work on the Bechdel Cast it’s also fantastic to hear Jamie take a different tone that speaks to lit nerds. The content is thoughtful, well-researched and spot on. This often misunderstood piece of literature has irritated me for my entire adult life due to the blatant condemnation of child sexual abuse that’s been purposefully overlooked; other critical commentary on the subject has often felt trite or apologetic on behalf of the pop culture that enabled it and/or the misogynistic culture that excused and celebrated the (over)sexualization of youth which is and will always be disgusting and inexcusable. Jamie, keep the eps coming and I hope you do other literary works with an equally critical lens.
