Description
Moving on to the 6.5 calibers in Magnums.   This is where I think the divide starts with newer shooters starting to have either negative reactions to the shot or at least reducing the fun.  That said, there are ways to make the bigger 6.5's more than capable of killing altmost any big game animal in the world without killing the sender in the process.   We want to share some our experiences with you. Having shot a .264WM for years and have taken Elk with it.  I can share with you all my positive experiences with these calibers and tell you with confidence that I enjoyed every minute with that rifle.  Including taking it long range varmint hunting and even placing 3rd in the North East Regional Varmint Hunters Association’s Championship Shoot.   Not bad for magnum rifle that weighed just 12 pounds.
