A really pretty decent podcast
I have listened to this podcast since returning to the hobby in 2020, and have followed Dan’s up and down relationship with 40K with interest and amusement! Being of a similar age (I started playing Warhammer Fantasy in 1994) I can really identify with his struggles to chase the nostalgic joy of those early years in the hobby. I find both Dan and Phil to be honest, genuine and also very knowledgeable, without being overly serious about what is, let’s be honest, a fairly silly hobby. I find it much easier to identify with and listen and to real people with real lives outside of the hobby than sweary American clickbaiters. I really hope you keep going with the podcast! Listened to this podcast since episode 10. The podcast is at its best when it chooses to not follow a set structure and leans into its detours from the topic at hand. The audio is fine it’s come some way in the last year.
