Description
In this episode, Kiran Chawla sit downs with Jarvis Lee Bowie , a man who was wrongfully accused of murder and spent several years battling the Louisiana justice system. Jarvis recounts the morning when he was arrested by the police, just days before his 21st birthday. With no prior experience with the law, he found himself blindsided and confused as he faced accusations regarding the murder of a neighbor, Clarence Augustus, amid community gossip and familial disputes. Our discussion delves deep into Jarvis's experiences during his incarceration and trial processes. We explore the critical role played by his Attorney Alex Laird who joins us along with Lynn David whose company “Another Chance Bail Bonds” provided the Bail for Jarvis.
