This is Love Hurts. Emily Walsh is a comedian living in New York City. Emily lost her dad when she was young, and she’s spent a lot of time thinking about the role her dad would have played in her life as she got older. She shares her memory of him, the struggles of talking about him with family members, and writing an hour long show re-examining her relationship with him after she got married.  Emily is performing her show about this topic, Dad Girl, through August 27th at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
