Description
Barry Taylor is a former priest with a PhD in theology and pop culture, who was once a touring sound technician for legendary soul artists Marvin Gaye, Gladys Knight, and The Stylistics. But it was hilariously working on the Highway To Hell tour in 1979 with AC/DC that Barry converted to Christianity, ushering in a new immersive phase of his life. HIs book Sex, God, and Rock 'n Roll is a wonderful collection of essays based on the “random magic and mystery of life”, recently riffed upon by comedian Pete Holmes in his Netflix special I Am Not For Everyone (2023).
