“A bit of a mixed bag on this pod (I’ve started with the earliest episodes first, they may have improved/matured over time). The good: they are longer single case episodes. The bad: as with another major crime pod (rhymes with Lime Monkey), they basically take information from other sources, do a brief edit and read. Sounds like the hosts are knee-deep into Valley Girl Speak, there are a lot of “OMG’”s with heavy doses of “F-this” and “F-that”. Frequent giggling ranges from annoying to downright disrespectful. Finally, one of the hosts has a weird baby voice that, is so bad it almost sounds fake or put on. If it’s real, and if you intend to make speaking a large part of your vocation, get some voice lessons, girl.”
