“The guests need more coaching or editing or more clearly framed questions in order to give their stories some structure and make it possible to follow their stories. On episode 10 in particular, the guest is talking about various boyfriends who all treat her poorly at different points in her life. She doesn’t use names or pseudonyms, she just calls them all “him.” I can’t tell when the story of one boyfriend stops and the next starts. At one point a boyfriend gave her an ultimatum to choose him or the previous boyfriend and since she called them both “him” or “boyfriend” or “ex-boyfriend,” I can’t tell which one she chose. It’s just too difficult to follow.”
