“I only came across this recently as the result of the great British podcasts site and have been bingeing ever since. My only disappointment is that I am getting close to catching up. For a regular long term concert attender , these insights are fascinating and a delight to hear that while the musicians are such highly skilled and experienced professionals, they are ordinary people with a good sense of humour. I only wish there were other similar podcasts with performers sharing insights into the music they play , especially from the technical viewpoint. Hearing some of the podcasts focussing on a particular work gives an understanding and better appreciation. The presenter is enthusiastic and asks a good cross section of questions”
