“I think your podcast would better serve your listeners if it stuck to virus information not how your media department works.
Some questions I’d love to see answered
1) what is the effective death rate likely to be taking into account the mean incubation time.?
2) what is the death rate in different age groups, smokers/non-smokers?
3) what are the different ways that it can be caught ie droplets through the eyeballs?
4) you have told us respirators are more effective than masks. P95 is sufficient to catch a cough droplet but will it stop the virus once the droplet dries up and releases the virus?
5) do we have any idea of how many people (%) can carry covid without any symptoms?
6) How long can the virus live outside the body? What temperatures kill it. Ie can I recycle my face mask/respirator filters in an oven for 2 hours at 40c?
7) Are there any treatments proving to be partially effective effective?
8) is the virus likely to mutate to render anti virals ineffective.
9) How long is an antiviral going to take given the seriousness of this particular pandemic.
10) Are there any measures a person can take to boost their immune system ie taking vitamin C?
11) Covid is a pandemic by definition. Why won’t WHO declare it is such? What are the commercial/political considerations preventing it?”
