Certain opinions expressed in the molten salt reactor episode were presented as fact, notably the reasons behind cancellation of the Oak Ridge project in the 1970s. I love a good conspiracy theory as much as the next person but it is easy to find serious papers describing how the molten salt design has several major problems that Mr Townsend omitted, and it leaves me wondering with how much bias or lack of thoroughness topics in his other podcasts have been covered.
