“I’ve watched the Mad Men series, from soup-to-nuts, at least 4, possibly 5 times. It’s safe to say that I greatly enjoy the world that Matt Weiner created. Consequently, I’ve listened to a handful of different Mad Men recap/deep dive podcasts over the years, but this podcast offers fresh information about the production of the show that I’ve not known before, and the host’s detailed tangents on notable historical ad campaigns woven into the story are especially interesting to me. Casual fans of the show could maybe find this podcast a bit dry, but listeners interested in the social and political events of that period, in advertising, or even just good character development will likely take to this show like a duck to water. I highly recommend it to anyone that found themself absorbed by the show’s world and are itching to learn even more about the high amounts of detail that went into the production.”
