“How come there’s an episode where you interview a musician and they talk about their parent dying and you laugh (perhaps nervously) and maybe after a sentence, move into their childhood and how they came across music. That exchange just puts a knot in my stomach and this is the first episode I started listening and can’t even get past that. I know the podcast is about music but not giving a major life circumstance the air time it needs feels like it misses the point of music altogether. Giving you two stars because I haven’t listened to the entire podcast (can’t get past this gaff).”
