Engrossing conversations on process
This show consistently hits the sweet spot of a good podcast conversation, managing to be both casual and intellectual, winding and incisive. Jordan knows his stuff, but reveals his knowledge organically and productively, not pretentiously. He elicits candid responses from his guests, and it’s interesting to hear different photographers offer unique views on the same topics. I like that the show focuses more on process, personal history, and experience, rather than gear or technical details. This is a podcast that’s thoughtful and engaging (and punctuated with humor!)

Of all the very good podcasts interviewing artist photographers this series has the most varied content on the creative elements involved in producing photographic works. Let’s put it this way, it’s the only photo podcast the benefits from relistening. Highly recommended.
