“I’m a fan of yours/Amanda’s podcast work at Sounds Like A Cult already and was interested to see where she was gonna take this one. As a dead center, card carrying GenXer I got hooked once again after listening to the Millennial Cringe episode. Describing Boomers as “earnest” is so dead on. I have always labeled Boomers as obtuse mansplainers, but calling them earnest instead scratched an itch for me. Broad strokes IMHO; They have no sense of humor or curiosity and think what they say is right. They are earnest! And so annoying! Lol. Anyhoo…great episode. How interesting would it have been to have a snarky and skeptical GenXer in that convo too? Maybe a future episode. GenXers are listening. Thank you Amanda & Co!”
