Interesting and personal
A personal, touching and interesting story about a fascinating person with an eventful life and analysis about whitewashing and asian-american cinema and life. Beautiful sound design, voice and cover art for each episode. I appreciate that there were no interrupting ads. At times, the podcast felt a little stretched and self-involved – like a conversation about what the sisters of main character think about the title or how the actors were cast to speak the dialouge of the original script in a what felt redundant „Making of“-episode.

Why
Even after finding out the movie was made by an Asian who could only afford has been actors and Eastern European locations, you still insisted on making the central narrative whitewashing.
