“This is a great podcast Mahabharata in American English. Mahabharata is an epic tale of a royal family of ancient India. Almost all of the characters are virtuous, but have tragic flaws. The story dwells on family, society, politics, and philosophy. Many of the Mahabharata books are hard to read, and one can get lost in the details. The speaker of the podcasts presents it in a contemporary style, in a secular fashion, while respecting the culture and teachings of the ancient Indian subcontinent. He also adds some insightful commentary that gets the listener thinking about the greater meaning of the stories, and the history of how the epic was compiled together.”
