“You know... Creators focusing on space exploration generally tend to come off as above average in intelligence, but at the end of the day, no one really stands out. Hell, I freely admit, that I myself, fall into that category as well.
Anthony Colangelo is the exception to that rule. I would liken him to a Stephen Fry in a room full of news anchors... Surely, these people are all knowledgeable in their own right, but this one person just (pun not intended, but I wish it was) stands head and shoulders above them all.
MECO gives Colangelo the opportunity to display an extremely reliable pool of personal knowledge, combined with a rock-solid thought process. That never really happens "out in the wild". It's incredibly refreshing to listen to the well structured free-flowing thought of an erudite.
