Podcast is good in general, albeit slight nuances that detract from it's appeal.
First off, good podcast Major. Well produced, good audio, and good info. 3 of the basic ingredients are covered for. Also, most of the time, the interviews are good, even if somewhat boring at times. That's not a slam at you, just a critique. BUT what does annoy me is the Major's attitude to the podcast at times. While the Major himself is usually upbeat and chipper, I question his dedication to the podcast. What with there being shows where, to summarize, the Major might say, "I couldn't really think of much to say," or, "Got busy doing other stuff." The Major should know his fans by now...we crave all that is Xbox. Don't come to the game unprepared, or to the table without your appetite. This podcast has all the high-production valued trimmings that one would expect from the Major, but sometimes feels like the show is going NOWHERE! Maybe put some new segments in or something. We all realize you do this for your own fun and health, but really, what can you expect of us? You can't expect us not to care when you're not caring. Treat this show better, and I think you'll have a perfect 5 star rating in no time. That aside, well worth the download! ALMOST feelslike we're getting firsthand info...

Especially about Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox Live and Microsoft in general. Larry Hryb (aka Major Nelson) has a great radio voice and sounds like he has quite a bit of radio experience. He delivers each show with a sense of neutrality and doesn't sound scripted (eg. The Official Sony Podcast). He keeps...Read full review »
