Thoughtful and challenging
Reading Popehat’s blog for years now, I’m more careful when considering matters of policy. The inclination to exercise state power against those who annoy me is an impulse I am better able to identify and resist and one I will readily caution others against. The podcaster makes a pointed argument that criminalizing and punishing speech does not protect the powerless, but rather the opposite. I’m very excited for the series to continue.
