A rambling pile of genius talent. Hearts on sleeves.
I want to strangle myself every time these guys talk about the doubt and self-loathing that comes from being a filmaker. These are talented passionate artists. I want them to up their game on consiseness and repetition of arguments, but how can you fault them, I listen to them really hard, and constant argue with their disembodied unhearing voices as I drive. They make me think about what it means to be an artist, what measure of business, and inspiration, and recklessness I should attempt to cram into my existence. Full disclosure, I know Timothy from working on the Spirit Machine, and I would follow him into the depths of hell. He is a truly good person. Alric seems to be, like, um, ya know, maybe, a good dude too.

Well, that’s cool.” over and over like a...Read full review »
