On Tuesday, March 26th, 2018, the tranquil scenery of Northern California’s Highway 1 in Mendocino County was eclipsed by a disturbing scene. As a tourist was passing by, soaking in the views from 100 feet above the waves, crashing below, he noticed something out of place. From the rocks below, the undercarriage of a GMC Yukon was looking up at him. At first, the undercarriage blended in with the dark rocks.
