“This is a cute, feel-good podcast, but it was ruined for me when she said that the law of attraction was scientifically proven just as the law of gravity was. Saying something like this shows a complete misunderstanding of the scientific method, or an inability to be able to tell a trustworthy scientific source from a highly dubious one.
I believe in these things, hence listening to podcasts like these, but it’s important to separate our spiritual beliefs from scientific facts. While it’s very possible some of our beliefs may turn out to be scientifically proven one day, that day is not today. Movies that take a scientific approach to LOA like “what the bleep to we know” have been laughing stocks of the scientific community, and are filled with many, many inaccuracies. Remember, you can always find a PhD to say what you want them to say, especially if you pay them. Right now, there’s scientists who say COVID is a hoax, but when you look into their background, you quickly find out they’ve lost credibility within the scientific community long ago for unethical practices, etc. That’s just an example.
I like your podcast; you have a lot of good to contribute. But saying things like this just makes me not take you seriously.
Why is it so difficult to find a spiritual podcast led by a host with a good, reasonable head on their shoulders? This is why people laugh at us.”
