Welcome, fellow wanderers! Before we get into this week’s episode, I have a few updates. First of all, this is Episode 18. I can’t believe it. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share all of these incredible conversations with you all!
That being said, Season 1 will wrap up with Episode 20 on July 9th.
Don’t panic. There will only be about a 2 month break before I launch season 2, which will also be weekly episodes released on Tuesdays. During the break, I’ll be focusing on the business side of things and making some upgrades and enhancements to the show to provide you all with the best possible listening experience!
I already have a ton of AMAZING guests lined up for next season, which I am pumped about! And I do still have a few open spots, so if you’re interested in being a guest, please reach out on Instagram or email me at
[email protected]
I will be posting updates about the show on Instagram, as well as travel, business, and life tips, tricks, and motivation so make sure you follow me and the podcast.
Again, I am so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to inspire listeners to put yourselves out there, explore the world, and to manifest travel. So thank you for your continued support!
Now here are the deets for this week's episode:
This week I had the pleasure of chatting with Mickelle Sleyster.
She is a digital nomad, and full-time content creator in the solo-travel space who has traveled to over 34 countries and counting and who is currently based in Valencia, Spain.
As you can guess, we get into solo travel and the importance of building self-confidence to mitigate some of the loneliness and other potential downsides or challenges to the solo nomadic lifestyle.
We talk about Intuitive travel, which Mickelle defines as recognizing what your body is telling you and actually paying attention and listening to your gut instincts and getting quiet enough so that you can really hear how your intuition is trying to guide you, as well as mindset hacking or questioning and even challenging your beliefs and gaining a deeper understanding of why you think the way you do and which of your beliefs may not actually be true and could be limiting your potential.
We discuss Spain’s Digital Nomad Visa and all the perks of Mickelle’s homebase setup in Valencia, Spain, solo-road-tripping around New Zealand, and Mickelle’s expert advice for a Spain and Protugal trip- YES, I selfishly asked for her tips for my own travel plans and she absolutely delivered, so if you’ve ever thought about traveling to either or both of those places, you’re at the right place.
